That's when I found out about poz.com and long term survivors and started a few threads but the one that I ended writing was When it rains it pours.It was a way for me to deal with the stress and I ran with it.I wrote many things and was under the assumption that I made many friends.Then someone posted something about AM Gathering had no idea what this was.So I asked about it and was told that it stood for AIDS MEDS GATHERING and they were meeting in Boston Mass.Checked out their web page on it.I posted That I would love to go but frankly could not afford it.Then One of what I thought was a friend sent me a message that there was a Grant for people like me so I contacted them.They asked what I would need help with I told them I would need help with Transportation and the Hotel.So they replied what Airline I replied no Airline because I don,t fly so I told them I would rather take a Greyhound Bus and they said no problem.Then since there were more than a few people that were being help that the Hotel would be four nights for each person.Then I was talking to my next door neighbor suggested the Amtrak Train would get there sooner.So I contact the Grant Committee and they replied I would have to catch the Train in New Orleans at 7am on August 3 2009 I replied no problem.Next message was do I need assistance with Greyhound Bus Ticket and Hotel for the night in New Orleans I said I had that covered because I take the 2:00 am bus from Lafayette to New Orleans and get there around 5:30am catch the train at 7:00am and sleep on the way to Boston.I asked them what did I have to do and was this April 2009 they said just show up in New Orleans to catch the train.Then I started getting messages from the grant committee that they needed a confirmation number for the bus ticket.I did not know that they did not make the reservations for the train.I had planned on taking the bus but a friend said he would not mind bringing me to New Orleans so It would save me some money.They needed the confirmation number so I was dumb founded so I waited till July 3 before I bought a ticket because the needed the number so that was $36.50 non refundable ticket for certain dates.That was money I had not intended on spending.OK sent the number and the next day they sent a message that the price of the train ticket had went up $200.00 dollars.I did not understand I was confused?
